Training & Influences

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist deeply committed to helping people be fully alive in their bodies, relationships, and work. I help my clients uncover their own truth and live it. I include the deeper aspects of my clients’ history, personality and aspirations to help them unlock their potential for living a fully expressed life. I use the body and nervous system and not just the mind and story of my clients to facilitate healing and growth. That opens up tremendous potential for healing and growth not available in traditional talk therapy.

I have a bachelor’s degree in history, and a master’s degree in clinical psychology. I have received advanced training in Somatic Experiencing™, PACT®—A Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy, DARe – Dynamic Attachment Re-Patterning Experience, and Analytic Psychology.

My work is also influenced by over 16 years in private practice, a meditation practice spanning 25 years, in-depth reading of eastern philosophy, and extensive world travel.
